The cast and crew were shooting a scene in the movie in front of Gateway Secondary School, Quarry Road, Abeokuta when dare-devil armed robbers stormed the location and robbed them. Johnson was said to be singled out by the robbers as they threatened to waste him for daring to looking them straight in the face. They were on him alone for over ten minutes threatening to kill him. After much pleading the robbers everybody around the robbers did not shoot him.
A terrible shaken Johnson was said to have willingly told the robbers he had some money in his car and he took them to his car. They ransacked his car and went away with every valuable they can see, his lap top, phones and his car key.
Johnson would not have been at the scene of the attack as Naij.com source said he was through with his role in the movie but because he cannot find his way to the hotel he was lodged in he had to wait for the others to finish up with the last scene they were shooting. The armed robbers were said to have left with the cameras and other equipment they were shooting the movie with. Also at the scene of the robbery were Segun Ogungbe who was directing the movie, Bisi Babalola who was the movie producer and lead actress.

Meanwhile Johnson was billed to anchor a wedding in Ibadan, Oyo state on Saturday, January 23. Now Johnson is said to be in a dilemma, his car cannot move as the robbers left with his car key and his Ibadan client are furious that he will disappoint them by not coming to anchor their event which they had paid him to do earlier.
However, the case had been reported at the nearest police station and Muyiwa Adejobi the Ogun state police public relation officer had also visited the scene of the robbery attack as at the time of filing this report.
