Chinese club Shanghai SIPG is willing to offer £6million for Mikel plus wages of £60,000 a week after tax.
The Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is wanted by Swedish coach Sven Goran Eriksson at Chinese club, Shanghai SIPG.
According to UK Daily Mail, Shanghai SIPG is willing to offer £6million for Mikel plus wages of £60,000 a week after tax.

Mikel has been very crucial in Guus Hiddink-led Chelsea.

He is presently undergoing a revival under interim Chelsea boss, a situation that has triggered the interest of Shanghai SIPG.
Mikel has been at Chelsea since 2006 and has been linked with an exit a number of times.

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho had noted on the Club’s pre-season trip, that duo of John Obi Mikel and John Terry are now the only players who bridge the gap between his trophy-laden first and second spells as Chelsea manager and acknowledges that having a serial winner like Mikel around the group can only be beneficial.
