Stubborn Southampton hold Arsenal to goalless draw at the Emirate
It was a tough night yesterday for the Gunners as they battled for maximum points against less rated EPL side, Southampton.
The Arsene Wenger-led side fired blanks all through the match as they aimed another shot at the top spot of the league table.
With Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud going for the kill several times, Southampton goalkeeper, Fraser Foster made vital saves which denied Arsenal the much needed win.
Arsenal has now slipped to the fourth position on the table behind Leicester, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur with 45 points from 24 matches.
Multiple reports are also claiming that Gunners coach, Arsene Wenger had a scuffle with his Southampton counterpart, Ronald Koeman after the game.
